Pushpin Western Mass puts concerts, films, and talks from venues across the Pioneer Valley and the Berkshires on one page, day by day: concerts two months ahead, films and talks one month.

This is a curated feed, with an emphasis on independent venues.

Event info is gathered from select venues every few hours. Times and details can change, so check with the venue before you go: every listing links back to the original source where you can confirm times or buy tickets.

No algorithms, no ads, no accounts.

Questions

Who makes this?

I’m Graham Hagenah. I grew up in Western Mass, and I love supporting its theaters and concert venues. I wanted an easier way to track what’s coming up than relying on Google or visiting each venue’s website.

Why isn’t my favorite venue here?

It may not publish its calendar in a way that can be read automatically, or I may not have found it yet. Tell me about it and I’ll take a look.

Will you make this for my city?

I’d rather keep it to places I know well. I add every venue one by one, and curating a list of cool spots would be challenging if I’m not a local. But if there’s enough interest in another city or area, I’ll look into starting one there, and it would go much faster with help from someone who knows its venues. If that’s you, get in touch.

How often is it updated?

Every few hours, from each venue’s own calendar. Shows added or changed since then appear with the next update, so check the venue’s page before you go.

Why do some listings have no time?

Some venues post only the date, or only when their doors open, not when the show starts. The listing links to the venue’s page, which usually has the rest.

Does it track me?

Only anonymously. It counts visits, and which listings are opened, followed to their venues, and shared, with GoatCounter, which uses no cookies and keeps nothing personal, so I can tell whether people are using it. There are no ads and no accounts, and your venue and search choices live only in the page’s address.
